Hoary Marmots

Hoary marmots are one of my favourite subjects... they are numerous up on Hudson Bay Mountain, they quite often let me come within a few feet of them even with my black lab, and they don't bite - I think. Here are a few of my latest pictures of a baby marmot.

His parents were whistling away - probably telling him to hide but his curiosity got the better of him. Lucky for him we hunt for photos only.
